temple in a tiny hole

It’s been a long while since I last posted any images to my blog. Life is ironic. Six years ago, I gave up my Ph.D. and a scholarship to become a professional photographer, also a starving one. Now in order not to starve, I am more an amateur photographer than a pro. But…I haven’t given up yet. I just change the way I photograph. The old days of getting an assignment email then driving out to shoot are gone. I have to create my own assignments, usually not newsy ones and mostly for weekends. These days, I’ve been playing with pin hole. Since I see tons of editorial photos each week at work, I am happy I get to play with pin hole, which has a different look and feel. I wonder if the readers get tired of looking at all those newsy photos of war, death, accident, storm, meetings, politicians, celebrities…
